Diaries and notebooks belonging to Dora Trench née Turnor.
Dora’s diary documents her life at Stoke Rochford Hall, Lincolnshire, and at the family’s London home at Chesham Place, Belgravia, London.
The diaries chronicle her struggles with asthma, her family tragedies, her marriage, her children and her every day life.

The photographs cover a variety of topics such as a Royal visit to New Zealand , family weddings, travelling around the world, births and deaths of loved ones and beloved pets.
The majority of the photographs in this subseries were taken by Theodora Trench who documented her travels and experiences throughout her life.

Form 24 records the names of persons assisted and the following categorising columns against each name:

27 weekly columns for input of amount received.

A note at the footer of each page instructs that entries relating to assistance granted in cases of sudden and urgent necessity are to be made in red ink.
