This series is comprised of accounts from the network of retail branch houses which were established by D. E. Williams in the 1890s, and a small amount of material relating to the establishment of Five Star Supermarkets in the 1960s and 1970s.
Accounts, legal documents, correspondence and marketing material relating to the foundation companies of the Williams Group, namely Tullamore Distillery, B. Daly & Co. Ltd., D. E. Williams Ltd., Irish Mist Liqueur Co. Ltd. and other associated companies.
This series reflects the Irish Mist Liqueur Company Ltd. under the holdings of the Williams Group Tullamore. The company was concentrating on the production and marketing of its only product, promoted as Ireland's legendary liqueur. The records include production and account ledgers; one section is dedicated to their export and marketing campaign and other parts contain digital media, photographs, and maps.
