Contains newspaper clippings regarding the retirement of Doctor Charles Benson, headmaster of the Rathmines School; the retirement of Reverend William Pattison Kerr from the parish of Fintona; the invention of the graphophone by Alexander Graham Bell; and the funeral of the late Earl of Guildford.

The announcements are marked in pen by William Lamb, and read, "Lamb - June 8, at 1 Wilton terrace, Rathmines, the wife of William Lamb, LLD, of a son." and "Shaw - June 8 suddenly, of heart disease, William Bernard SHaw, Esquire in the 64th year of his age. The funeral will leave The Cottage, Terenure, for Mount Jerome, on tomorrow (Thursday) morning at half past eight o'clock."

Meagher and John Mitchel for sedition. Informs Fuller that his subscription to the cause will be published in 'The Nation' and the 'United Irishman', and is glad to here that the neighbourhood of Clara is prepared for [rebellion]. Also includes a newspaper clipping concerning a minor "Accident to the Reverend Abraham Fuller".
