Files relating to the plans by Offaly County Council to commemorate the 1916 Rising at 50 years. Includes file containing records of attendance of delegates at the committee meetings (1966); minute book recording resolutions agreed by the County Committee of the 1916 Jubilee Commemorations with Mr Nicholas Egan presiding. The Tullamore Committee, with All O'Brennan as chair, organised the main celebration with a parade on Easter Monday and the commissioning of a commemorative film (1966-1967); large correspondence file concerning the plans for the commemorations and particularly with the commissioning of the film (1966-1967); a file containing the scripts for the film and a recent remastered DVD copy of the film, the original of which is now with the Irish Film Archives; and an accounts book recording subscriptions to the 1916 Commemoration Fund (1966-1967).

This collection is comprised of the records of Patrick Moore & Sons, Victuallers of Edenderry and Rathangan. The collection includes ledgers, cash books, stock books, daily order books and van sales books. There are also documents regarding financial accounts such as bank account books, customer account books, bills of account with local traders, Dublin traders and a trader from Manchester. Also includes documents of their accounts with other businesses and legal costs as well as personal family photographs. A note in ledger P1/C/17 from 1923 recounts that Judge Wakely's house, Ballyburly, near Rhode, was 'burned by irregulars' in 1923.

The collection is comprised of artefacts, plans and drawings of the Clashawaun Works (jute spinning mill) and its machinery. The business records include; material relating to the formation of the limited company in 1888; correspondence with directors and partners; notices of meetings and resolutions adopted; some handwritten minutes and material relating to the formation of the limited company to a public company in 1937.

Softbound copy book containing minutes of the Tullamore Lawn Tennis Club, including two loose notes, one of which is a hand drawn programme for a tennis tournament. Minutes contain general rules of the club, statements of account, plans for tournaments, and lists of members. Important decisions recorded include changing the site of the tennis grounds to Spollenstown, Tullamore in 1894 and the construction of a pavilion. Prominent members include Rev. Maxwell H. The rules of the society and the agricultural show is also given along with the names of judges in the categories for prizes in cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, eggs, bread, butter, honey, grain, potatoes, root crops, horses and garden produce. Also contains extensive advertising from businesses in Edenderry and surrounds.
