Endorsement of resolution sent to the Board by the general secretary of the Gaelic League: 'That we are in absolute agreement with the Archbishop of Tuam and Rev. Fr Confey in their condemnation of foreign dances and the broadcasting programme of 2RN, that it is wrong for 2RN to broadcast Jazz at all, and that we appeal to the church, the teachers, the organisation, every public board and association to ask the government to prohibit such broadcasts from 2RN in the future, in so much as it is against the religion, learning and culture of Ireland. Furthermore to ask every Irishman to boycott "Jazz Dances".' (23 Jan 1934)

Report on the state of repair of the roof of Barnaboy House which was fitted out for Dr Brady as the Kilcormac dispensary residence but Dr Brady complained that they have had to endure a winter of misery with a leak in every bedroom in the house. (p198-199)
