Annual report, accounts and rental for year ending June 1908, showing a slightly reduced gross rental. Reports on the general 'lawlessness' throughout the country in the form of cattle driving, boycotting and malicious injuries, but is pleased to note that the Geashill estate has been free of such incidents.
Also reports that the purchase negotiations with the tenants have been agreed and the tenanted lands in King's County and Queen's County are now to be sold under the premise of the Land Purchase Act of 1903. Warns however that due to the insufficiency of funds from the government, it will be some years before the purchase money and bonds can be paid to Lord Digby and the holdings vested in the tenants.

Statement from Patrick Boland, Chairman Offaly County Council appealing for the farmers of Leix and Offaly to increase food production and suggesting the Parish Council take a census of all arable land in the area and to impress on those who can to increase their acreage by 20 percent.

Notes that 'the future of this country is still in an unsettled position, but pending the so called 'Truce', destruction of property has ceased.' Reports that he has obtained decrees for compensation amounting to £3,200 for property destroyed on the estate since Easter 1919 , but notes that is impossible to know when payments will be made.

Report tells of arrangements for making subscriptions 'we estimate that no liability will be thrown upon the central funds in respect of these refugees at any rate not until towards the end of the year. He also notes that there are gifts in kind from the farmers of Banagher neighbourhood.
