With reference to that munificence, a memorial marble slab has been placed over the vestryroom door, on which is the following inscription: -- "A.D. 1879. Erected by the parishioners of St Mark's as a record of the munificence of the Rev AS Fuller, DD, vicar, in re-pewing and beautifying this church at his own cost. Churchwardens--Hall Bredin, MD; George Porte, MRIA. 29 Feb 1879";
an obituary clipping which reads, "Fuller--March 3, 1916, at 24 Leeson Park, Rev Abraham Stritch Fuller, D.D., formerly Incumbent of St. Mark's Dublin and son of the late Adam Fuller of Woodfield, Clara, King's Count. Funeral from above address at 10.30 o'clock tomorrow (Tuesday) morning for Mount Jerome Cemetery.";
and a second obituary clipping which reads, "Rev. Abraham Stritch Fuller, B.D. The death took place on Friday at his residence, 24 Leeson Park, Dublin of the formerly Incumbent of St. Mark's. He was ordained in 1853, being appointed to the curacy of St. Mark's in the same year. In 1872 he became Incumbent, and ministered in the parish until 1888. He was a member of the Senate of Dublin University.".
