Annual reports, rentals and accounts submitted by the Trenches to Lord Digby, 9th Baron Digby of Geashill, beginning with an introductory survey of the estate in 1857, followed by successive annual reports from 1858 until 1872. In 1870, Thomas Weldon Trench resigned his position and W. S, Trench employed Reginald Digby, nephew of Lord Digby, to replace T. W, Trench on the estate. W. S. Trench died in 1872, and Reginald Digby continued thereafter as sole agent for estate.
The border of the title page contains illustrations of the prize cottages at Killeigh and a map of the drainage plan at Ballyknockan. Also includes representations of the two gold medals awarded to Lord Digby by the Royal Agricultural Society of Ireland, the Challenge Cup awarded for best housing and the Challenge Cup awarded for best drainage.
Annual reports, accounts and rentals submitted to the 10th Lord Digby by Reginald Digby, resident land-agent of the Geashill Estate during which time he oversaw the sale of the estate to occupying tenants under the terms of the Land Purchase (Ireland) Act, 1903.
