Elizabeth Young Tobias, fifth child of Reverend James Tobias (1803-1882) and Mary Anne Rowe (1813-1881), was born 24 April 1843 in Donaghadee, County Down. Elizabeth Young Tobias died 12 May 1928
Mary Anne Rowe, daughter of Moses Rowe and Sarah Jane Howard, was born 22 November 1813 in County Wexford. She married Reverend James Tobias on 25 March 1834 at Saint Iberius Church in County Wexford. They had eight children: Jane Tobias (1835-1914); Marianne Tobias (b. 1837); Sarah Tobias (1838-1926); Matthew Tobias (1840-1921); Elizabeth Young Tobias (1843-1928); James Tobias (1845-1865); John Duncan Tobias (1851-1878); and Catharine Howard Tobias (1854-1870). Mary Anne Tobias died 11 January 1881 in Belfast, and was buried in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Dublin.
James Tobias, eldest son of Reverend Matthew Tobias (1770-1845) and Jane Stirling (1770-1852), was born 11 July 1803 in Belfast. He married Mary Anne Rowe on 25 March 1834 at Saint Iberius Church, County Wexford. They had eight children.
Reverend James Tobias died 24 August 1882 at Mount Michael, Sandymount, Dublin, and was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Dublin.
Jane Stirling was born around the year 1770. She married Reverend Matthew Tobias on 21 July 1802. They had four children: James Tobias (1802-1882); Elizabeth Tobias (b. 1805); Jane Tobias (1809-1810); and Matthew Tobias (b. 1811). Jane Tobias died 28 April 1852 and was buried with her husband at Falls Road Cemetery in Belfast, County Antrim.
Matthew Tobias was born in the year 1770 in Moy, County Tyrone. He married Jane Stirling on 11 July 1802. They had four children: James Tobias (1802-1882); Elizabeth Tobias (b. 1805); Jane Tobias (1809-1810); and Matthew Tobias (b. 1811). Reverend Matthew Tobias died 13 June 1845 in Belfast, County Antrim and was buried at Falls Road Cemetery.
Jane Davison was born 1 May 1861 in County Waterford, Ireland. She married John Cairns Ebenezer Smith (b. 1858) in Dublin during March of 1883. They had six children: Mary Cairns Isabel Smith (1884-1977); Eileen Muriel Smith (1886-1984); Frank Smith (1891-1978); Anna Marguerite Smith (1897-1983); Mabel Marion Smith (1898-1984); and Donald Smith (b. 1899). Jane Smith left her husband John sometime after the birth of their sixth child, and moved to America, where she worked for the Cunard Steamship Company Limited. Jane Smith died 15 October 1934, and was buried in Peekskill, Westchester, New York, United States of America.
